decision to place cover on the rock after the players rub it? WHY?????? Do they really think the rock could be damaged with so many people around it on game day? If that ever happened they would be hanging from the nearest oak tree and would not have to worry about the Clemson Mayberry police department.

I love it when people change a tradition over night. So much for touching the rock and getting photos with it exposed to the air.

What's even worse, is that CLEMSON UNIVERSITY had to actually pay someone to make that decision. It might possibly be more than one person, so CLEMSON paid several morans to make a dumb decision.

I will guess to say that the reason to cover the rock is now a insurance regulation

I also would guess that Clemson University has purchased insurance and if so, a part of the provisions in the insurance policy now may force the University to do this.


Again, just my thought which is a guess at best
