So CLEMSON should be #1 in 2017 !

Alabama was given that they should be #1 to someone beats them. Alabama had a new freshmen qb and rb. And had many new faces on defense.

Clemson should get same treatment. #1 until someone beats us. We reload and will be much better on defense. OL will be better. Should be better with running backs. Have 4 quarterbacks that who comes out on top will be really really good. Wide outs with cain renfro scott, powell and overton. Hope ray ray stays could be better. Hard to replace a DW and MW. But we will be very good.

they have done it with 3 different QBs. They've made the playoff all 3 years and have done so with a different starting QB each year. They don't rely on a QB to win and they've certainly never had to replace one of Watson's caliber. They've proven they can do it. We haven't proven that yet. We get our chance next year.

I disagree, we were in the natty game 2 years in a row only other team to do that is Bama. We finish #1 we should start the season #1 until we lose. Everyone loses players and there is no way to determine who should be #1 until games are played. When you finish #1 you should start new season #1.

I understand your perspective but, rankings don't really matter until the CFP committee starts releasing theirs...

be better at RB after losing Gallman. Hopefully CJ and Feaster improve by next year. And yes, some talented quarterbacks but none of them have any significant experience.
