So all three players had ankle/foot injuries last year.

I'm guessing the investigation will start with the treatments/products they received.

I would question that for a couple of reasons

1) Is this actually the first time they've been tested since then? Seems a bit unlikely.

2) I don't think this stuff lingers in the system for months. I read a couple of stories today about athletes that tested positive for ostarine and they were advised to focus on things that they had consumed within a week or so of the test when searching for potentially contaminated supplements.

Ostarine is metabolized by the body fairly quickly. The 1/2 life in the system is usually between 24-48 hours.

I keep seeing people saying that's a quick half-life but have no idea where they're getting that idea. 24 hours is a LONG half-life. Of course, it's all relative based on the control threshold for each substance being tested for but someone said it was .002 nanograms/ml which means it's only a minescule amount needed to show up on the test for something with such a long half-life.

For reference, most pain relievers or pain meds from ibuprofen to oxycodone etc have a half-life of 2-6 hours with the longer acting instant relief meds being around 8 hours half-life at most. And those are usually detectable for anywhere from 3 days up to a week in most people.
