Skara had a nice game ... complainers miss the way he

kept Maye in check and played really hard nosed defense all night.
He had a couple of shaky moments shooting but ... He hit a nice 3 and hit two important FTs.
He’s not an offensive threat, but his strong defense keeps him on the floor.

Skara was able to muscle Maye off the block without fouling. He doesn’t try to be a shot blocker. He defends with hustle and determination.

shakey at times. He had three turnovers tonight and I remember two of them as especially terrible. I expect Sims and Skara to both be much better next year.
Folks not very knowledgeable of basketball don't see much except the scoring.

Boy we must have high expectations when 33% from 3 is worth noting as "having shaky moments". Dude only shot 3 times from the field and was 2 for 2 from FT...

I groaned when he came in and ET came out at the end, but he played great d on one of the final plays where the UNC dude that had 30 points drove out of control and Skara made the block. Props to him, big play.
