Given that interest rates are the lowest in a generation, it

would be foolish not to borrow money for projects that are needed.

I so agree. what about projects not needed like duplicationg what is in the west zone over at a football operations building. or rebuilding an arena you rebuilt 10 years ago.

the way rad spends he should probably be in congress

Private donations.

Why are you so negative?

Nov 6, 2013, 6:04 PM

Don't you want to be competitive? Clemson has very little athletic debt. DRad has done this before successfully. He knows what he is doing. He was hired to do it.

because we are duplicating what we've done. I'd be happy for something new and different.

We are definitely a bball conference now...I guess they are

Nov 6, 2013, 6:12 PM

thinking that, in order to compete, they need better facilities to bring in the recruits. I think we've got a good coach...just seems like it's a little difficult for us to get the big time players.

Now, I don't know much about bball. It's just one of those sports I could never really get into. But if we start taking bball seriously, I may start attending the games more often and just overall taking a bigger interest.

It does seem like yesterday though when we did upgrades to the arena...

It is long overdue.

Believe it or not, there are many Clemson supporters who want badly for us to be good in basketball.

I don't know that that is true. There are a lot of Clemson fans that like basketball. When OP had us doing well LJ was generally pretty packed. Not sold out, but still pretty packed. If we can start winning on a consistent basis, I think Clemson fans will get behind the BBall program in big numbers.
