Just trying gage everyone opinion on this. I’m guessing No they probably won’t renew any contract. But he be back next year judging by how Clemson has done with brownell

Lee should be fired tomorrow, but he won’t, Clemson is very tolerant for some reason
Brownell should’ve been fired years ago, but he’s still here.
Clemson seems to sleep on coaches, unless you’re coaching football…

No matter what the sport is whether it be men's or women's there is one thing for sure that anyone who is hired as a head coach at Clemson University can always feel good about knowing and that is that the AD and Athletic Administration will be patient with them for years and years and years and give them way more than ample time no matter how average or bad their teams may be,that is known fact.There is a lot of Universities out there in the world that would not have no where near the patience Clemson has with it's head coaches.With what Monte Lee has done at Clemson he better count his blessings daily that he is not a head coach at a place like Texas,LSU,Arizona State,Arizona Southern California or Miami to name a few of the traditional Baseball powerhouses who have won many National Championships in there history.

I hate JK and think Brownell should have been fired ages ago, but there is no comparison between the two. Monte Lee now holds virtually every negative record there is to own for this program.

Should he be replaced? Yes, before Clemson falls any further.
I don't think Neff is ready to fire someone quite yet. CBB is the basketball version on Monte Lee and he's still here as an example of Neff's thought process. I think 2023 might see some coaching turnover in Men's basketball and baseball without some big improvement.

Can’t compare the two sports. Clemson was a power house in baseball now just an after thought. Basketball has been average forever. Clemson needs to have the baseball team get back to that level. If Monte can’t do it they need to find someone who can.
