Sick of it..let’s get back to life since Dabo’s got this!

Dec 10, 2021, 4:44 PM

As in he has quietly taken care of the OC & DC vacancies (somehow without our astute help) and has basically named them.

Yep, all In-house since that’s where he trained them for these perilous times and now it’s next coach uP.

And, as far as decommits (3 from school that he just visited), he probably told them to make their own choices due to their DC BV leaving but that Clemson would be there and they could come back if he hadn’t gotten replacements.

Saying, Dabo knows Clemson FB isn’t going anywhere..it’s just spread its winning coaches out there far & wide for their continued growth & monetary enrichment as well as to help other college athletic football programs & teams to flourish..

and thus it’s prime time for our junior coaches to grow up and produce as they were trained from some of the very best.

Yes, it’s probably gonna be a bit rocky at first but probably no worse than the “average” 9-3 record of 2021. ACC titles & a Natty or two again in next 10 years should be The Standard when the dust disappears.

Go TiGERS..Jeep ROCKing!

PS: As far as AD RAD leaving for Miami during all this, he was leaving anyway since Miami was a former AD job he held & a place he loved and this move will be his last one b/4 retirement..it paid a ton more $.. and Miami is using his expertise of raising $ & building new buildings (this time an on-campus football stadium).

Bill, as long as folks like you and I have been around

our program, all this just adds to the excitement of the holidays. (At least that's one way to look at it.)

I've been in business for 50 years and have had top people come and go, rarely skipping a beat. To me it's simple: sh*t happens, and you deal with it. If you're on top of your game, you already have well-made plans for most contingencies.

I suspect Dabo Swinney has had such plans all along and will reveal when he's certain of his decisions. Meanwhile, since he's not called me, I'll wait.

I like an old saying I used to tell my son and grandkids: Steady your nerves. Steady as you go!

And, as Dabo said couple months ago and we didn’t see it as clear (or as muddy) as him..

SHiP Happens, and I hope so for about 1500 yards in 2022! ??

Go TiGERS..Jeep ROCKing! (O-30)

I could not agree more, Bill. Let's get it over and done with now.
