I just go. I might add something new or omit an ingredient depending on my mood. The Padre has it. One day I'll save it lol. Oh and APM has the meatless version.



But this is the base always...

I make a large Dutch oven's worth, so scale back if you need

Sicilian Gravy

2 lb. of ground beef
1 pound of sweet Italian sausage hot or sweet
3 jars of Rao’s Homemade Tomato and Basil Sauce

Brown ground beef and sausage meat in large dutch oven (6 quart)

Add tomatoes

Chop up/dice –

Mushrooms
Zucchini
Kalamato olives ½ jar with a little of the “juice”
1 red onion
1 baby or ½ regular eggplant
Change out veggies to your taste

Saute (in some oil) until tender add oregano and garlic then add to meat and sauce

Simmer all day
