Had an Aussie friend who married a Bama fan try to tell me the officials called a good game and made sure to get all the calls right, on fb. By that he meant all those reviews of all our catches on that final drive. I couldn't contain myself and told him that the game was not called clean and what he just mentioned was a pro Bama review after review, which was ridiculous. Also, mentioned all the holds and personal fouls not called or fully reinforced, while Bama was playing dirty.

I've read a dozen articles that said #4 was rattled early when down 14-0, I never thought he was and the Bama players all say he wasn't. All Bama has done is heap praise on him.

I was pleasantly surprised how Saban and Bama handled such a heartbreaking loss.

At least three announcers calling the game ( Chris Fowler @ ESPN ) stated that DW4 was playing timidly , or that Bama had him rattled after that first quarter and a half .
The fact is that they don't understand that intangible in DW4 like the faithful do ...that he is unflappable . He just gets up and plays the next play , and he ALWAYS has that mindset that I am going to beat you before it's over .
Talking heads love to analyze , but they are not always good at it .
