SI: 13 of 28 Ole Miss NCAA violations involve football

Feb 10, 2016, 12:19 PM

Now there's an unexpected surprise (uh umm).

http://www.si.com/college-football/2016/02/09/ole-miss-football-ncaa-violations-investigation

Ole Miss football is responsible for 13 of the 28 NCAA violations the school was recently accused of in a Notice of Allegations, reports the Associated Press.

Nine of the 13 football violations occurred during coach Hugh Freeze’s tenure, according to the report. The violations include some Level I infractions, which the NCAA considers most serious.

Women’s basketball and track and field are also mentioned in the allegations. Some of the football violations have already been self-reported by Ole Miss, according to the report.

Ole Miss was served with a Notice of Allegations for roughly 30 violations in late January. Then, it was believed football was not the focus of the investigation.

It’s possible Freeze’s recruiting practices have been included in the NCAA charges. In 2015, Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil missed seven games for accepting impermissible benefits. The Rebels’ 2016 recruiting class is ranked fifth by Scout.com.

As with the UNC case it seems like the NCAA is content with throwing a few womens sports programs in there so they can fall on the sword or keep the penalties down for the mens sports (Football)..

Maybe thats why the coots are building up their womens sports?? lol

Yep, slap on the wrist is coming. The NCAA is an extremely weak organization right now and has no sign of possessing a set of nads.
