only after they dropped to #7 after MICHst trimmed them in 4th qtr. If not, then Buckeyes would have faced the ACC & eventual national champ in FSU..and they would have really been "BuckEyed" & "Sore Buckeroos"!

Come on. Face the facts.

Ohio State did not want to be in the Orange Bowl. Like Bama and the Sugar Bowl, the Buckeyes viewed the Orange Bowl as a consolation game they did not want to play.

It's is always like that for the big, national, ESPN/SEC/BigTen/Pac 12 favorites. When they lose, it's because they didn't want to be playing.

Remember when we beat Oklahoma and Switzer said his team didn't play hard because it wasn't a national championship game? It's always like that.

game overall vs our Tigers..and actually Clemson was still the better team IMO (with Sammy being the biggest difference).

The line play..QB play..WR's play..the RB play & D play were very solid from both teams.
