Should choice get the start

Wayne train hasnt done much since auburn. Should choice get a chance to start. Yes most the issues is on the offensive line. But If choise wouldn't of gotten injured a couple yrs ago. He still be the starter. Point is we must be successful in running the ball on Saturday. Can choice give us a spark? Thoughts

We could use some variety in the running game and in how we are calling certain downs.
Wayne train gets it done on pass protection, and that is crucial for us. We all know he can run it. We also know that he gets stronger as the game goes on...but the game has to 'flow' a certain way so the defense gets worn down and he can collect first downs. We rarely had the ball in the second half on Thursday and missed an opportunity for him to do this. Choice did look good at GT. And occasional use of him and Feaster to give different looks can be good. But Wayne will get it done. Once we hit a few deep ones...that will open it up for him

Why is everyone talking about choice? Because he had a huge hole to run through and had a nice run against gt? Other than that, he hasn't looked like the same running back to me this year. He looks really slow and doesn't look shifty at all. Take away his 16 yard run at tech, he's run 14 times for 36 yards. That's 2.5 yards a carry. If anyone should challenge Wayne, I would think it would be Dye, who's had 11 carries for 66 yards (6 yards per carry). He's looked good this year.
All this is a mute point because Wayne is by far our best rb. He just needs some holes to run through. It's not Wayne's fault, other than a few carries Elliot mentioned, that he's not looking like the Wayne train of last year.

That's a tough Choice .
As a coach , you'd hate to have to make a Choice like that . I think Gallman is the right Choice , but I have no problem in platooning he and Adam .

Just a thought, but what about the conspicuous (seemingly inconspicuous) one. Why not more carries for him? Is learning to pick up the pass rush that hard to learn? Just how important is carrying the mail?

There's nothing wrong wrong with Wayne or the o line . We're just trying to establish a running game early , and opposing defenses have been doubling down on stopping the run .
They know it's game over when we can "run at will " over them early .
