My understanding is the lacrosse field/facilities are going to be lake front. You would be able to watch your daughter by boat. That alone is a game changer.

Getting a second mortgage to double the number of recruiting events we do in the spring.
Seriously though short answer is I believe/hope so. This is a weird year (sophomore) for recruiting. Coaches are looking hard at you but can’t actually make contact until fall of junior year, so you are left to look at what coaches are on the sideline for your games, who looks at your recruiting profile and how often, and then interactions you have at school prospect days. All of those three have been really good with CU and a number of other D1’s but the rubber doesn’t meet the road until next fall when you see who actually contacts you.

Does that mean with the prospect, or anyone in the family? In other words, can you as a parent approach a coach and have a conversation with them?

Nope….none. Strictest recruiting rules in NCAA sports.

Only exceptions are contact during a camp or your club or HS coach can have convo with the college coach but can only ask yes/no questions. We are doing the UNC prospect camp next weekend with about 20 coaches present so will be curious to see extent of contact in an allowed environment.

field and facilities. Save your money going to other recruiting events, buy a camper to park at Clemson Grove (Pendleton's premier trailer park!) and make it a point to show up to Allison Kwolek's house every weekend with a determined spirit and firm hand shake. You look her in the eye and let her know you won't quit until your daughter gets a spot on the team. She will obviously be overwhelmed by you and your daughters commitment and drive to be on the team, making it impossible for her to turn your daughter down.
