He landed the top two O lineman in the state and has them well positioned for Donnell Stanley. O line man seem to like to play for him.

The amount of ca$h Bama makes, I'm a little surpised they don't spread it out to their other programs besides football. Not saying they aren't making it work, just thinking a few more bucks to BBall and BaseBall wouldn't do wonders

He didn't interview, or get an offer to turn down from what I've seen.
According to the Head Ball Coach, he only encourages coaches to interview for positions that advance and not lateral moves.
"We sort of have a policy: don't go interview unless it's an advancement. I've always had that policy. If a guy is interviewing for a lateral job, when he comes back home, he may not have one. It's as simple as that. Don't be interviewing for lateral jobs," said Spurrier.

Conflicting reports out there. Our insiders saying no offer was made but bama site had a story up saying he was offered. Either way, he is probably getting a raise out of this. He has been an excellent recruiter and seems to have an up and comer reputation. IMO this next year needs to see a bigger jump in our level of line play for him to keep getting this interest. They have improved but next year he will have a lot of the guys he recruited at an age where they should be very solid. If he can put together a very good line he will have his pick of a lot of jobs and we will have to pay very well to keep him.

It was a great honor to be considered for a coaching position at the University of Alabama, but I feel it's in the best interest of me and my family to remain at South Carolina. We've had a lot of success here over the past three years and I'm committed to being part of that continued success for many years. I'm proud to be a Gamecock

They lead for every 2014 instate recruit of any significance and it has a lot to do with him. Would have been great for us if he'd have gone to Bama.
