Seriously, what do I know . . but I never thought Haskins

Oct 25, 2019, 1:21 AM

was pro QB potential. He looks really bad. Why the heck did the "professionals" think he was QB material moving on? You see him learning and changing? I don't. I mean, he wasn't that great for his 1 YEAR as a college starter.SMH

I second this! He can only hit receivers when they get a lot of separation. Any hint of coverage from the defense and he just looks lost... either throws a terrible pass or scrambles around till he gets sacked

I won't say yea or nay about what kind of career Haskins

may have. But, I will say, in general, there is a reason one year starters are only one year starters, and that is they were not as good as the guy in front of them. So, why should great things be expected of them on the next level? Yea, Trubisky, I'm talking about you. And the people who drafted you.

and so ungrateful when the redskins did.

How was he not great for his 1 year in college???

Oct 25, 2019, 11:10 AM

He completed 70% of his passes, threw for over 4800 yards, averaged 9.1 yards per attempt, and racked up 50 TDs with 8 INTs. He finished 3rd in Heisman voting.

You can argue whether or not he looked like a pro prospect, but I'm not sure how you knock his college production. He was great last year.

Which CFP game did he lead O31O in? That's what I thought.

JT Barrett Was the QB the year 31-0 happened.

So that's the ONLY measuring stick for how well a QB

performed in college? Whether or not they made the playoff? They were 13-1 and the defense was the weak link on that team, not the offense.

In today's world, it's not only getting to the CFP but how many you win.

he was great in college though. He was a Heisman contender

I think Ryan Days system is really good but it might put out “system QBs” that aren’t pro ready.

Don't disagree, but too early to say he won't be decent***
