Serious recruiting question. Honest answers please.

Though we have obviously outrecruited SCAR for the last four-five years and have signed many that did not even consider them, but, during the last several years, how many did they sign that we really wanted? You would now have to consider the Belk kid. Also, the good athlete we wanted for DB but they promised him he could be a QB. Who else?

They have a couple of receivers that in years past would had been takes for us. We did recruit them (Shi Smith?, and 2 others including Ortre) but ended up signing better talent. They have benefited because of that since we didn't have room for them.

There were 2 OL guys that I believe we were after who signed with the Coots. One hasn't really materialized much and I can't recall his name although he was a pretty good young man, well spoken from the lower part of the state. The other one is a starter, I believe at Guard.

And I think recently on the defensive side of the ball, the DE kid from close by in Anderson.

Hope I'm not wrong on any of this.

Zack Bailey only one that comes to mind that we offered at the same position

Bailey was overrated by his results of 3 years of college football. Besides that, he is the North end of a South bound mule.

The times I have watched Bailey, I thought he was pretty good, and would have benefited from playing at CLEMSON. I think he made a bad choice, like the Gary kid at MI.

Well I remember in the 5-8 year range, we wanted both Stephon Gilmore and Jadeveon outta South Pointe. And I believe they’ve gotten some oline guys that we’ve missed on. I’d say head to head we obviously lead but I’ll give credit every now and then they’ll snag somebody good that we would take
