Serious question re USuC....

Should we, in the spirit of compassion and caring, allow the U of SC to officially 'withdraw' from their rivalryship with Clemson?

After a century plus of battering our inbred feathered friends (and seeing them regress incredibly and Clemson moving to heights never seen in college FB, wouldn't that be the right thing to do? We could write letters of recommendation to such appropriate replacement schools as: The Citadel, N. Dakota State, Colgate, anybody in Div. III, Club FB teams from other universities and so on.

Just remember, mercy is a virtue that could aptly be applied here. I know the state legislature might push back, but surely those reps at the state house with Garnet underwear could appreciate the need for 'tough love' from Clemson to the Coots. At this point our FB games vs. USuC are a little boring, with an outcome NOT in doubt for the foreseeable future.

Clemson tried, the government told clemson that they couldn't just run off and play with their peers. They HAVE to play with their little brother at least a little.

Why does this keep coming up?

We need to keep playing u of sc because it is a great opportunity to beat the living shiatt out of a powerful sec school!

That always looks good on the year end resume. Most of the talking heads think the gamecocks are great because they play in the toughest league in America. Bring em on.
