Do we end up at #4 in the last poll before the playoff if Georgia wins a close game over LSU? This is particularly relevant if the UVA game is within 2 scores.

I think #4 is the only ranking we can't get

Can get to #1 with OSU and LSU losing.

Can get to #2 with either LSU OR OSU losing.

Stay at #3 with OSU and LSU winning or LSU losing and the committee lets UGA jump us (it could happen). UGA will jump us if they win and we lose, but I think Utah, Baylor or Oklahoma also jumps us in that scenario.

I think the only way we get to 4 is if we squeak by UVA (under 7 points) and UGA blows out LSU (14+) and OSU wins. Even in that scenario, I doubt we go to 4 because that would mean a UGA/LSU rematch in the semifinals because I don't see them putting in a 1 loss Utah/Baylor/Oklahoma over a 1 loss LSU

I don't know if it really matters because you still have to win 2 games.
What I do know is right now, right this very minute the only game that matters is The ACCCG vs UVA Saturday night in Charlotte.
