I wanna know a serious answer to this question.... If South Carolina or Clowney are so irrelevant, then why can't you guys go a single day without talking about us. You say were nothing and will never be nothing so why give us any attention at all??? I see at least 20 SC threads a day over here yet you complain when the fans show up and post on the threads and pretty much have witch hunts screaming coot this and coot that. Before asked why do I post on a rivals board. I'm a fan of the game and can respect your program even while I hate the school that is my rival so I don't see Clemson as irrelevant nor do I see Clemson as superior to us. Just curious to what's going on in you guys program. It is my belief that it isn't the fact you have lost 4 in a row to us but the fact that Clemson is playing the best football its played in the last 20-30 years and you can't beat us that burns you all up so bad. I myself think the fear the thumb thing is stupid but I will bring up current bragging rights (2012 win) when pushed just as clemson brings up history to defend itself. I'd appreciate a answer if anyone can give a answer.

relevant meaning Nat'l Champs material I'll assume...?
1st - Win your division & conference (we have lately)
2nd - win a nat'l championship at some point (we have)
We do need to beat y'all to stop all the clucking & crowing to prove your irrelevance however & this is the year to catch back up with that.
You guys recruit great & often better than us (within the state), have a big-time, tested & well-known-proven coach that can't get you over the hump...ex: see Tommy Bowden.
that being said...give us just 2-3 of your awesome guys & we're unstoppable!

This what the kind of answer I was looking to see. You have some valid points that I agree with. Just remember everyone starts somewhere. We are doing things that no one ever thought we could do but we have a lot left to try. Say what you will but it is a lot harder to win the sec than it is the ACC based on top tier teams in the conference. In my opinion the ACC title game will be played in Clemson when FSU rolls into town. Outside of Clemson and FSU the ACC only puts focus on BBall.

We just find it amusing how you live vicariously through your conference your record vs Clemson is Bad. Yes you have won the last 4 but it will take you almost a generation (24 straight wins) to even up the series. So when your siblings reach adulthood have them come back on here and post and maybe they will close the gap of 65-41-4 until then I would appreciate it if you just say thank you for your 4 wins and know that in about 60 days the rent comes due.

We have won 22 games in the last two years and are now 1-0 going into week 2. Pretty secure with what my team has accomplished in recent times and currently. Congrats on winning a conf with only 2 two good teams in 2011 and on your last 2 sec victory. For the SEC conf to mean so little to Clemson you guys sure do beat your chest hard on those 2 wins.

The 1 SEC East championship featured a division with:
5 loss UF team
7 loss UGA team
7 loss UT team
Your team lost at Auburn, at Kentucky, home vs Arky, and then got curb stomped by Auburn again, and then lost to FSU in your bowl game. This is the most accomplished season in USCe football history.

Clemson: 21 wins in 2 years, a BCS Bowl appearance (even though we got murdered you still flaunt your SEC Championship loss by 40), Beat LSU (you haven't done that in years) and we are also currently 1-0 in 2013 except we don't have to talk up the opponent that we beat, everyone knows Georgia was good.

Have you ever talked to a single one of your own fans? They have beat us 4 years in a row and yet all you can talk about is Clemson, Clemson, Clemson. You're the definition of a pot calling a kettle black.
You know what "burns me up so bad" in a good way? The fact that we HAVE lost four in a row to you and yet all ESPN and the other media people talk about is Clemson. You have proven to be the best team in the state in a head to head matchup but you can't win anything outside of that game and so you get no love from the national media. Does that "burn you up so bad?" Is that why you're here?

So multitasking isn't hard for me. I can focus on cockytalk, TTC, Dawgrun, and tigernet so no worries. Clemson had the best game of week 1 as far as match up went and how good of a game it was. Let's see how much attention you get now while waiting to play FSU. And then again while waiting to play us.

Georgia didn't play any worse than Clemson. You must not have watched the game. Both teams missed a TON of tackles that game. Georgia is a great offensive team and proved to be a decent defensive team, Clemson is great on offense and decent on defense, but the better team won the game. Georgia fans are in full meltdown mode, so i don't expect them to be talking about how great they played. They had 500+ yards on us, is that supposed to be a "bad night?"

How it felt to have you most awesomest defense ever give up:
44 to Florida (a terrible offensive team)
35 to UT (a terrible team in every sense of the word)
28 to UM (a mediocre team with an injured QB)
Giving up 35 (also considering we didn't care about the last 7 they put up) is decent, right?

Did I say good? I said decent. Watch ESPN, they're saying the same thing. 6 straight 3 and outs versus a top 10 offense isn't too bad now is it. They need to eliminate bug plays but with Aaron Murray and Todd Gurley that will be tough to do. I wouldn't be surprised if UGA put up 400+ on your defense next week too from what I saw in the UNC game.

Team that averaged 40 points and like 500 yards a game didn't come close to any of that. But they lost so many key players to the NFL start??? Funny how that same logic doesn't work for start. Also how UGA lost gurley for a significant amount of time or how the WR took himself out the game being dumb hurt two major pieces in that offense hasn't been talked about over here. How the LT on the UGA OL was getting his first ever start ever has been kept quiet.

That said, there is way more Clemson talk on coot boards than coot talk here. Always has been true.
