Sorry, I may be naive and I don’t spend a ton of time on TNET, but from every post I’ve seen from him, although sometimes not popular, always been diplomatic and civil.. but unfortunately some responses I’ve seen have been downright abusive.
Am I missing something here? We all may disagree but we still all have something in common.. we all love our Tigers! (Except the Coot trolls)

but I also realize that it will take a greater commitment from the administration and fans.
I am prepared for the athletic department to devote more resources toward basketball, even if that means taking money from football. That's how much I care about the basketball program.
I don't know many people here who would be willing to do the same. For most, they say they want a better basketball program, but shudder at the thought of spending more money on it - especially if that money came from football.

This argument is kinda funny. I don’t know how old you are but, I’m willing to bet in your lifetime the basketball team hasn’t changed. I don’t know how old you are but if Clemson basketball has been the same your entire life why complain now. Sounds like a lot ok jealousy you have for the football program. They spent 63.5 million dollars in 2016 on renovations to LJC. They are in the works to build a basketball operations building. But you want to take money from a successful program and give it to basketball lol. Football generates the most revenue for the school. And since they been winning i imagine the revenue has increased. If you want the basketball team to earn more money they should start winning something meaningful. Outside of 1 season Brad hasn’t done that. You support him, so you should support not giving the basketball program any money until Brad proves you right. I say we give all the basketball money to the softball program. Since they are successful that should push them over the edge. What do you say?

Isn't that what we all want for programs we care a lot about?
Money is a finite resource. Clemson's administration has to decide how much money it has to spend, and what to spend it on.
Since we don't have an unlimited budget for basketball, it has to come from somewhere. It seems that most of our fans want a better basketball program, but aren't willing to spend more on it, especially if it means taking it from football. In other words, they are choosing football. That's fine, but it makes their supposedly strong desire for a better basketball program questionable.
If people really really want to see things improve, you'd think they would be willing to do whatever it takes. Most of our fans - at least the ones on TNet - talk a lot about improving the program, but are seemingly unwilling to put it in the best position to succeed.

I admire you for wanting the program to succeed. That’s what we all want. We all got different views on how to do that. You talk about budget and attendance. Other people complain about Brad. They all want the same thing. It all goes hand in hand. You can take up for BB all you want. But why attack others. If you meet people in the middle it might go over better. 13 years people want results. You say Brad has produced others say he hasn’t. But both sides want the same thing. The football program is loved because they have had results. If the football team was 8-5 the last 12 years the support wouldn’t be the same. And Clemson has been spending money on basketball here lately. Renovations have been made. Clemson insider just posted article not to long ago about building a basketball operations building. Win and win more often attendance will improve. Football games are on Saturday it’s easier for people to make those games. I live in Charleston so I can’t make all the basketball games, mainly week day games. I make Saturday games though.

He is very open about criticism towards other Clemson programs and posters who disagree with him. Also misleading with false information. A toxic username with harmful things to say about most athletics that aren't basketball unless it fits his narrative.

I used to feel the same way, like everyone was picking on Keller. Then I saw what everyone else saw. Keller is a troll and a pot stirrer. Watch them post. If basketball is winning they are constantly posting trash against the football program, then when bball inevitably falters they start lashing out at anyone who says anything negative even though they're one of the first to post negative content about the football program. If you stick around very long you'll see. Don't waste your sympathy on the biggest troll on tnet, they don't deserve it.

I really don’t remember JK being such a troll before this year. He would pump for Brad without inappropriately attacking Football or Dabo. I think something snapped when everyone was so obviously right about Brownell and the inevitable collapse due to his lack of quality coaching ability. Everyone could see this coming from a mile away. He’s had 13 years. He’s not a winner. It’s not like it’s suddenly going to change. The ACC being a joke this year is all he had to hang his hat on.

I guess I’ll tag on here since TS laid it out. When I first joined TNet I initially disliked JK because he/she badmouthed orange overalls and the agricultural aspect of Clemson (though he/she did the latter in his/her now well known method of snide backhanded compliments and obtuse denigrations). In a few following years he/she made generally well posited defenses of CBB. However, the last year or two, she started voicing criticisms of the football team. Not directly, but again as backhanded compliments and subtle jabs. She/he may have come unglued.

It has brought criticism on itself by underachieving two years in a row, seeing a drop-off in the overall talent level, and hiring or promoting coaches that have no business in those roles on our staff.
If we aren't comparing basketball to football, why are there so many posts here about how we need to find a basketball Dabo to lead our program to greatness? Why so many posts about what Dabo accomplished? It has nothing to do with basketball and the much more difficult job basketball coach at Clemson is than football coach.

Is that why I've routinely acknowledged that he isn't a good recruiter? Or that he should've gone to a full court press earlier against Virginia?
I think he's a good coach, but that doesn't mean I don't have an open mind.
I've stated plenty of times that I'm fine with us getting rid of Brownell if it means that Clemson is willing to make a significantly greater investment in the basketball program (i.e., stop being cheap with coaching hires and pay a proven coach a higher salary).
Until then, I think Brad is a great coach for us and I believe he will win more with better support from the administration and fans.
I don't get mad at others here. I'm not the one starting threads about people and hurling insults at people like they do regarding me.
