Seeing lots of A. Murray talk.

Jun 23, 2013, 6:47 PM

Even if he is the second best QB in the nation next year, he will be just that in DV on 8/31..... Second best.

It isn't so much talk as it is us laughing at him.

Calling Aaron Murray an elite quarterback is like calling the University of South Carolina a prestigious institution.

Both are BS and the funniest things I've seen today.

I expect Boyd, Murray, and Bridgewater to be elite this year. The guy over in Oregon, Mario, should also be great.

He only came back because he wasn't draft worthy in the Top 5 rounds. No NFL franchise wants some dwarf QB who has two ranked wins with zero rings in almost 4 years. Btw, the two wins were against bad Allbarn and a fluke UF fumble in the end zone driving to win.

Little Aaron's Heisman talk will be over with come 8/31. He'll be lucky to be the 7th overall QB drafted. That's not NFL elite mutt. He'll be broken like a twig in the NFL with that $1.05 frame. He's just your home town hero. That's all.

yeah. He has a serious shot to win Wimbledon this year

Jun 23, 2013, 7:58 PM

we will have to see if he can overcome the pressure this year.

Boyd yes.

Bridgewater, a very good possibility.
Murray will be good. But that's it. Put Murray at a school that doesn't use boulders for an O line and see how good he is. The reason McCarron and Murray are getting hype is because their teams are big and strong. Alabama and Georgia play slow, deliberate games. When they have the momentum, Murray probably seems great. Put him at Georgia Tech or UCLA where he will have to make dynamic decisions and actions to keep the drive going and I think he would prove to be much less stellar than the media would like you to think. All Murray has ever had to do is move back 2 steps and either throw the ball or give it to Gurley.
I don't see that as being elite when its the rest of the offense giving HIM the stats as opposed to him getting out of the pocket and working the D to make a play.
Take away their momentum by stopping their run game and shake up Murray a little bit and Clemson wins. That's what USUc did, look what happened.
