Seeing CBB being singled out in a lot of praise from some

posters....Where's the love for the players that have put us in this position?

"No one knew we were overhyped until the season started." - Classof09

And they deserve it. It’s been a fun week in BB. However, maybe, IMHO, his recognition is the result of past criticism.

Anyway... this looks good on the tournament resume!

It should be noted that my low points are another one of Kevin Steele’s faults. Jus sayin.

You're right, the players deserve a ton of credit too.

They are playing really well and executing our offense and defense at a high level.

However, in the name of consistency, it is only fair to point out that when we lose, any criticism of players is typically excused because "the head coach is ultimately responsible" and "his job is to make sure players make plays."

In other words, players missing shots, turning the ball over, missing assignments, and generally not executing is not considered the players' fault, but the coach's. So if that's how it's going to be, and Brownell is the one receiving criticism for losses, then he should be the one receiving praise for wins.

I am simply reminding you of the criteria you and others have already put in place for evaluating losses. I feel that winning and losing should be a team thing, falling on both coaches and players. But maybe that's just me.

"All those 'Fire Brownell' guys can kiss it." -Joseph Girard III

"Everybody needs to know that Coach Brownell is arguably the best coach to come through Clemson." -PJ Hall

My criteria for evaluting losses & wins is heavily weighted

by fan support, with facilities running a close second.

Why do dogs always race to the door when the doorbell rings? It's almost never for them.

I'm sure you realize that CBB himself defers praise to his players and coaching staff.

So feel free to shower the love on Coach. He'll make sure it trickles down.

Unless you'd rather have a coach like Frank Martin, who alternately praises and criticizes his players in the media. If Clemson fans are not astute enough to recognize when our players screw up, our coach does not enlighten us. SouKar fans can point fingers at whomever Frank blames. Clemson fans point fingers at Coach B, because he doesn't throw his players under the bus.

I don't think CBB is on TigerNet***

Last two games when the ball is at the top of the key the offense has been dynamic: cutters, backdoors, strong drives with finishes, drive and kick and good ball movement. I guess hitting a few threes has opened all that up or have the guys just gotten really aggressive or is Duke and UNC defense weak? Still not a fan of shoot a 3 and have 5 guys run back to play D.
