Not if you are a Clemson fan.....this guy has never liked us (just look at all those bogus calls against us for a number of years now) and don't think he is about to start now.....Hope it does not come down to him deciding who wins this game because if it does we are DONE......On another note
that tarhole called Swofford better not talk to Ron Cherry or any of the other refs about deciding the outcome of this game either.....Do not trust or like either of these guys who both will be pulling for the tarbabies to win this game......Go Tigers!!!!!!

Our ACC ref, Ron Cherry, cost us a game at Georgia when he called TWO "roughing the passer" penalties on Clemson. In both cases, the CU player was in the air b4 the uga QB had let the ball go.
These terrible calls, restarted (what should've been) stalled uga drives.

Ron Cherry has never liked Clemson and he better not cost us the ACC championship with his biased BS.....and that all I have to say about that.....Go Tigers!!!!!

But that was not always the case. We played NC State in Raleigh in 1999 and lost 35-31. It was the worst officiating job I have ever witnessed for a Clemson game. And it wasn't just 1 or 2 bad calls. It was the whole freaking game. Definitely cost us that win. Cherry and his crew were suspended by the ACC after that fiasco. Bowden was livid.
Anyway, that game cemented Ron Cherry's reputation. Over the past 15 years he has improved. But he was bad for Clemson in several games around 1999 to 2000.

I've had never understood the disdain for Cherry or any other referee. He is not the only referee only the field, usually he is just a messenger for the other referee's that have thrown flags.Do y'all physically see Cherry throwing all the flags?
