not sure you how that is big winners- take the diference

between the ACC and SEC(which is really the difference of 1 year of $6 mil + the extra access bowl invites) - take that $40mil difference and divide by 5 years then divide by 14 teams. That's $571K per team - just not that much in the grand scheme of things. The playoff $ is pretty equal whether you make it in or not. The disparities in $ come from the TV contracts. B1G>SEC>ACC/B12/Pac12(these 3 are close to the same particularly with Comcast bump that is finally coming into play). The B1G and SEC about to create a bigger gap though with B1G contract up in the next couple of years and SEC going up based on renegotiation/adding TX/OU.


FWIW that $66mil per conf playoff figure is already in the low $100M per conference just 3 years later..... that's to each P5 conf whether you go or don't go to the playoff
