I Should have known how the BB game would turn out...

Before the game, I went to the pet store to get a mouse for my snake and the girl charged me for a rat. Sounds insignificant, but a mouse should only $2.19 after tax. A small rat costs $3.97. I brought it to her attention to no avail. I told her I'll keep my receipt and get it straightened out next time. I took the mouse home and my snake acted like she'd never seen a live mouse in her life. She had it by one leg, then by the tail, then finally after about 10 minutes, grabbed that vermin by the thorax and did her business. Next, I went down to the Flying Saucer to get my 3 beers in. Sunday is NC pint day. All NC pints are $3. They're supposed to tell you if you order an exception. Well, evidently, I ordered two exceptions and instead of my tab being $9, it was $12.75. I asked her about it and she just said "sorry". About 3 minutes later, NC State sank the 3-pointer. 90% of the people there erupted with glee. I drained my beer, came home, and scooped dog shyte from the yard for the next two hours.

exciting part of my day. Thank god for a three-year-old who enjoys showing me how to work my smart phone in order to get you-tube videos of little rabbit foo-foo and Elmo.
