He is still seems ifffy and he wants us to recruit him hard still and he needs to go to other schools to see where we stand. .. I would take him off our list.

I agree with you that he is shaky but he still calls himself a Clemson commit. I understand him wanting to look around. He thinks he has made the right choice with Clemson but needs to be sure. I want him to be 100% sure that Clemson is where he wants to play. We are still in the lead for him and Kitt. Ever since he committed last NSD I knew we would have to fight to keep this young man and believe me Dabo and Morris both feel ready to fight. They will give him a longer leash for now to look around but at some point they will ask "Are you with us or not" but that time isn't right now.

Jonnybball22, I agree with Dabo on this issue. If you are committed, you are committed, stop looking around. If you aren't committed, then look around all you want and tell us you love use, etc. and we do the same. The rule should be changed and it is simple to develop a "clearing process" with various significant people in the players life, and then if he is committed, he signs with that team right then and it is over. It stops all of this hoopla about hats, helmets, etc. and starts the recruit on the path to becoming a man and making manly decisions.

Chad is the shaky one. He tells DeShawn he will stay until DeShawn graduates if he'll come to Clemson. I guess that means "The Chad" had that put in his last $1.3 million contract. .

There is no doubt in my mind where Chad Morris stands. Read what he has said. It has to be an outstanding situation that is much better than his situation at Clemson and that team has be on the path to playing for the National Championship. He has that path here at Clemson so it will have to be a HC job at a significant school.
Now, can you for sure tell me what Watson situation is? I can't because he says he is committed but continues to look around, ie. Nkimdiche, Robinson, etc. Clemson would love to have Watson and Kitt but we must take care of business, like offering other QBs while Watson makes his final decision. Woulard is an example. If he commits and signs, the ball game may change a little for Watson.

He's not committed.

I don't care what he says. He is still openly and very vocally interested in and considering other schools. That is not "committed" by even the loosest definition of the word. Clemson may be his favorite, but there is no commitment.

Not sure why a highly-rated junior "commits" that early anyway.
Seems almost counterproductive unless they grew up a Clemson fan and it was a foregone conclusion that they would be a Tiger from birth.
That was certainly not the case with Deshaun Watson.

Attempting to avoid the recruiting melee, I simply have

taken the attitude that once a recruit signs, then he's ours. Prior to that I'm willing to let Dabo and Co. work their magic, although I understand why discussions interest a lot of folks. I will say this: the Clemson Express will soon depart the station...and interested recruits better hop aboard in a hurry!

comes with old age. People are worrying about 2014 recruits when 2013 recruits aren't even secured. If anybody can work his magic it is Dabo.

He has never been on the USCheat list, so you can worry about something else.

This is spot on!!
The train IS leaving the station soon. Destination: A serious run!!
Either get "All in", and get ON BOARD, or make the wrong choice and be left wondering!!
The Clemson nation WILL enjoy the ride with....or without you!!
