So quick question, is it better to lose to Rutgers in the Dance or not make the dance?
I will hang up and listen...

Wish we would've not made the dance if the terrible losses in the ACC and to Rutgers were a part of it.

Rutgers was 16-12 and was the 10 seed. We were the 7 seed.

We were the higher seed and expected to win this game, but Rutgers showed better poise down the stretch, as is often seen with Brownell's teams.
I get the "better to make it and lose than not make it" argument, but you have to look at things in totality of Brad's career and the tendencies to not advance the program and lose games down the stretch.
I think Brad is as awesome dude, but he's had more than enough time to create a high-end, repeatable product. It just hasn't happened.
I'm open to giving him this year to show something along those lines, but a similar year this year with many excruciating results should result in turning the page for our basketball program. Why extend the contract now?
I don't understand the timing of this extension. We should have waited to see what the results are after this season. He's been our coach since 2010, an up to this point in his career he has only one ( season advancing in the tournament with his players, when he rode an on-fire Gabe Devoe and the guards playing at a on-fire level.
Again, Brad seems like a great guy and has a history of sustained mediocre success, but what constituted an extension?
Heck some folks want to fire Tony Elliott after 6 great seasons and 4 bad games, but Brad gets an extension after being upset in the NCAA tournament? I don't get it.
Go Tigers.

He's going to ride Gabe Devoe's hot hand into retirement.

Maybe he's the best we can get. We should just do like Andy Taylor and Barney Fife did with Aunt Bee's pickles... Learn to love em.

Aunt B's pickles were terrible. CBB has had more success than any other clemson BBall coach so your comparison is ignorant at best
