If the ball is wet, NCSU should struggle throwing.

If NCSU struggles throwing, Clemson DBs won't have to work so hard.

That's worst case though - heard that mentioned on the weather forecast this A.M. as a possibility. Hopefully it's just some rain.

I drove home from work after midnight on Sept 22, 1989 in 70 mph winds from a little blow named Hurricane Hugo.

There was even a guy who rode Hugo out on one of the barrier islands. He said he began thinking that might have been a bad idea when he was hitting golf balls, and it got up to a "Nine club wind". Now, that's what you call keeping a sense of humor in any situation, right there. (And, making a very bad life decision.)

Take away Shipley's first run and the Tigers only had a little over 100 yards rushing against Wake, NC State has a better defense, the OL will have to play way better.

It is going to be really wet and windy. Most models have Clemson getting hit hard Saturday - Sunday. I pray for the storm to bank east albeit at Tampa area's expense.

I wish it was perfect weather and we could have an amazing Gameday and recruiting weekend. However Tickets currently priced at $1000 will go unused and it will be a BYOG kind of game.

I hope we play and or looking at contingency plans. Better to play a game with a few thousand fans than not play at all.
