Mar 10, 2014, 4:26 PM

Not sure that's what it is yet, but I did get the preliminary 'this is gonna cost you money' phone call just now.

The best trannies are in Greenville.

Advanced Transmissions I think?

Easley is closer to Clemson than Mauldin.

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

the transmission in my '99 4Runner started slipping back in the winter of '09. It took some finagaling to get it to go into gear from park when cold. I took it to my trusted undercar service center and had them do their total transmission power flush including the miracle additive. I was skeptical. Don't remember the brand but can find out. Believe it or not, it worked! Kept it for another couple years without any problems. Good luck.

I'm assuming it's an automatic.

Go find a low mileage replacement from a junkyard and have it dropped in. Once a grease monkey opens that case up, it'll never be the same.

WASN'T THE TRANSMISSION.

Seems it's the electronic throttle control, and now finding someone around Clemson to fix it seems to be the issue.

Jerry Cain doesn't do it, and suggested Buddy's in Pendleton. Buddy's isn't taking any cars until next week. Pressley's told Joonyer that he should take it to an Isuzu dealer and get it reprogrammed, BUT OUR FREAKING TIME MACHINE IS BROKEN TOO. Isuzu dealer, LOL.

Any suggestions from Le Jounge?

We're friends. You laugh, I laugh. You cry, I cry. You jump off a bridge, I get in my boat and save your retarded a$$.

That's usually what I would do.

Except in this case, it's Joonyer's, and I'm looking for the cheapest way out so I can get to graduation in May and make it his problem on a full time all the time basis. If I could duct tape it, I would.
