No matter how good a fighter she is, she's not going to "beat the everloving hell out of" a man who's 70lbs. heavier than her and is highly athletic. As somebody else said, she might land a lucky punch, but she's at a huge disadvantage facing somebody with the biological differences that men have and who is so much heavier and taller than she is.

But we don't fight bantamweight men against light-heavyweight men. I'm not sure why somebody would think a 135lbs. bantamweight woman would be expected to beat a light-heavyweight man.

In quite literally every other sport and activity, the fundamental differences between the sexes make men vs women a pretty laughable concept. MMA is the lone exception. A professionally trained fighter has 100 different ways to dispatch an untrained, even athletic and larger, opponent. And most of them don't involve standing up and punching each other hoping for "lucky" shots.
Alas...we'll never be able to prove this hypothetical one way or the other.

How you think RR would hold up after being Colemaned in the mouf by one of Duane's fistisesss?
She'd have a real hard time dealing with punches to the any part of her body by a male D1 athlete that grossly outweighs her.
Shorty on the other hand, I'm sure she could arm bar him in about 8 seconds provided that he actually has long enough arms to bar.

And I still don't buy that 70 pounds of muscle wouldn't be a huge problem, even if it was a trained 130-pounder versus an untrained but very athletic 200 pounder. Not that this hypothetical would ever happen, but I don't know why we'd just assume Duane wouldn't have any training or that it would be a fight with MMA rules.
Plus, how's Rousey recover from the patented Coleman Cold #### out of nowhere? Answer me that.
