Robert Nkemdiche the choice is easy…..

do you want to play for team that dresses out in Confederate Gray and lose on a consistent basis, and whose head coach will be fired after your freshman or sophomore year. Or do you want to come to school where you will be playing immediately on a team that is competing to get in BCS bowl games, and possibly within the next few years a National title.

Main thing here is he needs to make the decision for himself

and not cave into family or friend pressure. He needs to do what is best for him. And sometimes making the best decision for yourself, involves not making everybody happy. If you make decisions for yourself trying to please other people, then you will end up being unhappy.

I think that actually depends. If his family and friends for some reason start pressuring him to come to Clemson, he should definitely cave and listen to them.

Actually - we are close.
Published: April 20, 2012
CLEMSON — Clemson University trustees approved new majors aimed at broadening humanities opportunities for students and gave the final OK for building and renovation projects at their April meeting Friday.
The trustees approved six bachelor of arts degrees in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities: Global Studies, Women’s Leadership Studies, Cinema and World Cultures, Pan-African Studies, Sports Communication and Religious Studies. The majors are offered as minors now and faculty would be shared among them. They are being funded by reallocations within the college.
The new majors reflect the need for graduates who have broad global views and are based on student demand.

to really lament this kind of consumer-driven approach to education. I'm sorry, but Cinema and World Culture is not a degree. It's a 4-year approach to being unemployed, or working as a shift supervisor in a McDonald's. I'm assuming Sports Communication and Religious Studies are actually two different degrees, though as a combo, it would be pretty funny. "So Mr. Hansen, we decided to interview you mostly to find out what exactly happens in a Sports Communication and Religious Studies course."

Freeze is actually a good coach and won't be leaving anytime soon but they aren't winning anything that matters anytime soon either. They'll never win even a division in the next 4 years much less the conference while we'll be in contention for it every single year. Setting up to where the winner of the Clem/FSU game wins the conference every year for the next several years at least as the coastal looks awful. Why not go to a MUCH better school and play on a MUCH better team. His brother didn't even want to go to Ole Miss. Hats off to them for giving him and chance when no others thought he'd qualify but he wouldn't even have chosen to go there in a million years if he could have actually been solidly qualified. That's all that needs to be said to RN. Why go somewhere your brother didn't even want to go?

season after Eli Mannings Senior year. Ed Oregeron was there only 3 years. Houston Nutt didn't last too long either. Ole Miss has an over inflated opinion of themselves. They still think they are an elite SEC team like they were a long time ago. But the state of Mississippi doesn't produce that much football talent and they don't get a lot of highly rated recruits from out of state. So it's tough for them to be consistently good. And with MSU doing better than them, Freeze better start winning 9-10 games a season or he will be run out of town within the next 2-3 seasons. Remember Ole Miss is on their 4th head coach over the past 10 seasons.

I believe if we win out, go to A BCS Bowl and win, he will hang on to us, if not he's gonna probably head to Miss with his brother!

I really wish our posts would refrain from making references to Ole Miss in such a way as imply that they are tied to slavery and the old south specifically. Saying "Rebels", "Confederate Gray", etc implies that RN is a Black man that should not associate himself with such an institution. Nothing could be further from the truth as Ole Miss is a fine institution and should be shown the respect it deserves.
While praising CLEMSON is fine, disrespecting Ole Miss is not. If RN chooses Ole Miss, then so be it. Let's refrain from taking the low road to influence recruits. CLEMSON has plenty of great selling points for any athlete to want to be a part of, so let's act like CLEMSON and not disrespect Ole Miss like this.

Ole Miss has for a long time held over symbols of the Confederacy. Not that long ago, their whole crowd waived rebel flags during games. And the gray they wore yesterday is just another example. Also, don't act as if other coaches haven't brought that up to recruits they were recruiting vs Ole Miss.
