There are some naive writers out there that have only been covering recruiting for a year or two, don't have very good sources and don't have a very good gut for recruiting.
It is fine for his Dad to respond that his son is "All In" after this bubbles up today and get gets contacted by the Clemson staff.
I can tell you his father also told another reporter that I have spoken with today that his son was not going to enroll early and that he was going to take a visit to Florida in January. His father also told at least one other report this same information today.
After Clemson goes into damage control the father comes out with a different story. I certainly hope he stays firm with his commitment to Clemson. He is a stud and will make a "Sammy like" impact wherever he lands.
But players that are truely All In don't do some of the things that Ray Ray has been doing for the past few months.
If you are truely All In why do you take a visit from a Florida head coach that hasn't been on the job but one week? Does that pass the sniff test to any of you that have really followed recruiting?
I've been doing this for a long time, not just a year or two like some others and have actual sources in Florida that have great connections to the program down there. Anyone that has followed TCI knows that from the Demarcus Robinson coverage and coverage of other things related to Florida.
For the record based on where our Florida source got his information on Ray Ray's visit we feel good about that information. Clemson made it clear to Ray Ray the week of that visit that they did not want him making that visit.

You take a visit - a meeting with the Florida coach at school at that - to be friendly, social and show respect.
If Steve Spurrier walked in my building, I would go down and say hello and be friendly - particularly if he asked to see me. If it was my son being recruited, I would hope he woould do the same thing Ray Ray did and hopefully say "yes sir, no sir, please and thank you."

However, you can easily spot faux journalists, for they either resort to petty, vicious attacks against opposition or simply disallow commentary differing from their views.
I call them junkalists...and I might add that during my stint as Editor of "The Tiger" in the late 1960's, these types wouldn't have made it past our front doors.

That "everybody apologize to us" post after Dabo revealed that Deshaun did have an ACL tear was pretty childish especially considering that the ACL tear did not happen during the GT game as they reported.
I am not impressed with their standards for reporting or their decorum.

York - I so agree. It's just like people who post on Facebook 10 times a day that they have the best family, wife/husband, etc. If you have to post that then maybe you're just trying to convince yourself - along with everyone else it's true.
If he's been doing this for "so many years" then he shouldn't even have to put crap like that out there. He would stand by his story and let it be.
TCI has lost tons of credibility and is grasping at straws. What's the word? Mediaw#ore? Oops....can I even say that on T-net?
Somebody is insecure and I'd be willing to bet it sure ain't David Hood. Don't be hatin on Hood bc you can't do your homework and you're jealous that his stories have more clicks and a larger audience than your sensationalism.

Correct me if I am wrong, but schools cannot have official or unofficial visits on campus from 30 Nov to 31 Jan...only limitted contact is permitted under certain guidlines...
