Question for the T-net veterans: bored drama

I’ve been lurking around t-net for several years now, and I’ve never seen the boreds in the current state of drama and turmoil that the likes of JK, BBO, Weslicheck, etc have taken it to. I’m legitimately curious: have things ever gotten to this point before? I see some posters mentioning someone named deadsolidperfect, and apparently he caused some fun at one point. Was it anything like this?
And to be clear, I find the bickering to be highly entertaining. Nothing beats watching grown adults duking it out with 1000 word essays on message boreds — whether they’re trolls or (god-forbid) actually serious.
Anyways, I’m curious.

My question back would be why you always read but don't share your thoughts. Apparently you get a thrill from that.
If no one post, then there is nothing here for you to lurk as to.
I am surely one of the "1000 word essay" folks you don't care for. I don't care for the one line twitter type folks, but together some fun is had here on tnet.

Well, to say the same thing with a more positive spin, I don’t see a need to contribute anything of my own incredibly often, but I do enjoy seeing what other people have to say

Nah, I like the 1000 word essay types. I posted one of my own during the football season. I’m just having fun and being a little sardonic

deadsolidperfect sucked - so glad he has gone off to the old folks home with
GWPTiger® - too boat anchors, these to.
As far as drama - yeah - has been worst than this on here - Tommy Bowden was INCREDIBLY polarizing. Was very similar to this - but worse.
And then hiring CDS was epic dividing.
CharlestonTom® was one of the most vocal naysayers on the Dabo hire - kept constantly going on that we deserved more than providing “on the job training” for a nobody. On and on and on.
So he was kinda like the anti-JK - wanting Dabo gone because we could do better. And he wasn’t the only one - there were many that contributed to the division …….
So yes - there has been crap like this - but worster.
