The 92-93 Phoenix Suns for perpetuity.
Majerle Barkley KJ Ainge
And my personal favorite, the perpetually underrated Tom Chambers.
90’s Suns were the last NBA team to achieve any success via unselfish team play.

Show me a team since the 90's who finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their division for most of a decade and had a more even scoring distribution. Wasn't unusual at all for Suns to have 7 players averaging double digits over a season.
Might be a team here and a team there doing the same these days (the Heat from last season come to mind) but no one's doing that for long.....2 stars and some highly paid scrubs who won't embarrass you is the formula these days.

team play. There were many great teams in the mid-90s through today that had unselfish team play. Any team that has ever won the NBA has had unselfish team play for the most part. On the Celts 2008 championship team, check out the numbers below. They didn't have 7 players in double figures, but each player played great team ball having several elite passers.
There are many examples. Even last year's Champion Lakers who I hate, had a team of unbelievable passers led by Lebron one of the best passers in the game.

Pistons in the aughts?

Seems reasonable now that I think about it and check record books to refresh rusty memories.
Once Stackhouse left, they were starless, and finishing first in your division for a decade with Rip Hamilton as your leading scorer does speak highly to team play.

let me see how I can do with this roster:
back row: cedric ceballos, adam keef, ???, tom chambers, doug west, oliver miller, richard dumas, dan marle
front row: ??? coach paul wesphaul, frank johnson, charles barkely, danny ainge, kevin johnson, and bob ross on the end
not even a suns fan, just an avid collector of basketball cards from 1992-1995.
somebody fact checkme, I bet I did remarkably good.

Doug west was a SG for the Twolves around that time period. He sorta looks like one of the guys that I couldn't identify in the Suns pic. I think that may be why my brain got a confuse.

respectfully disagree. Today’s skill & shooting amaze me. 7 footers shoot better than I ever could ____ not even close and I wasn’t trash.
Team offense is also amazing with player positioning and ball movement. Defensively any team has to guard the perimeter out past the three point line.

All the romanticizing of past eons of the NBA cracks me up. The talent in the NBA now is just ridiculous, those guys are bigger, faster, stronger, and better than any prior era.
It's like trying to claim the leather helmet era of college football when the team was all 5 foot 9 180lb white dudes all named like Scooter McDavenport could compete against the 2019 LSU team.
