NBC Justice Dept reporter Ken Dilanian just said, with a little chuckle while speaking with Savannah Guthrie, that Trump has copies of the documents and if he really wanted to, he could have released them already. The way they are reporting this is totally selective and slanted. Shameful.

Trump has a copy of the warrant and could have released it. He's pushing for its release now because Garland outsmarted his dumb ### and he knows he looks like even more of a guilty ######## now. He had no desire to see it made public because he was already fundraising off the whole affair, asking his f'cking sheep to send money.

He was always going to do that. He learned that "always be attacking" thing from Roy Cohn.
Garland still outmanuevered him bigly on this one by pitching it into Trump's court, and then daring him to make the next move. Now Trump may literally be in the position of have to bluster his way through an admission he was, as a private citizen, holding nuclear secrets...which makes it real hard to play the victim card since even Trump is going to really strain to come up with a valid reason why he was holding nuclear secrets in the freaking storage closet near the pool of his private club.
I'm actually not certain anybody but the true morons like MTG, Gaetz, and Boebert are going to defend that if it turns out he was. I think you could even see Hannity and Tucker start backing away at that juncture.
By the way, Trump apparently can't declassify nuclear secrets. That's its own classification. And he no longer held Top Secret clearance anyway because that got yanked almost the second he left office because he's considered a bad risk.
If he was holding that stuff, it was glaringly illegal. And according to News Nation - arguably the most neutral news agency in America right now - the stuff they found was indeed beyond Top Secret. If so...yeesh.

Trump said in a late-night post on his Truth Social platform Thursday that he would “not oppose the release of documents,” adding, “I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents.”
