Review: Firehouse Sub's new Prime Rib sammich

Late lunch today - Firehouse was in the radius of stops being made.

Walked in to get the Hook & Ladder combo . . . got boonswaggled into trying the new Prime Rib dealio.

I like a solid steak sammich, so I fell for it . . .


Carmelized onions, "prime rib", garlic mayo, provolone . . . . got it fully engaged or whatever spectacularly homeaux thing they call it . . . .


The "steak" has a little bit of chew to it - which is good . . . but other than that - nothin'


No taste, no flavor - I can taste the lettuce as much as I taste the meat.


4.5/10 - would not get again.


DID get it as a combo with Cheetos and a 55 gallon drum of sweet tea. The tea is really good - reminds me of the tea my Mom made . . . we had a family fri . . . wait - nevermind.


The Cheetos were spot on.
