Restaurants Getting Lazy Trying To Be High Tech

What's with the customer having to scan a VR Code just to view a menu to order what they want to eat?

I come in for a pleasant experience and I have to do work with my own personal devices to eat???

Just hand me a freaking menu....... Sheesh!!!

the wait staffs are down everywhere since COVID. It's like folks don't want to work at all.

Lack of employees. Where I live, Zaxby's must keep closing their dining area because of lack of employees. Our wonderful elected politicians would rather pay them to stay home. Lack of intelligence in Washington, D.C. is destroying our beloved country.

Electronic menus make it much easier to change prices.

It’s like the old saying, “I’d like to buy the younger generations for what they are worth and sell them for what they think they are worth”.

Food Lion is leading the way. They no longer have people to check you out. You have to pay $9 for eggs or $9 for and 8 pack of Gatorade that sold for $4.98 at Walmart about a year or so ago. Then you have to bag your own groceries.

Before I spend $500 every 2 or 3 weeks on groceries, then check them out and bag them myself. I will order my groceries online from different venders. I order awesome fresh Pacific Ocean / Alaskan fish shipped to my home each month. The fish is much fresher and cost no more than Publix or Fresh Market. It’s a family owned business Wild Alaskan Company. Give it a try!

I thinks it’s a QR code, unless you’re wearing goggles and eating virtually. Anyways, I actually think it’s a brilliant move for most restaurants. Helps solve the labor shortage, gives them more stability, lowers employee costs, and probably allows them to pay fewer servers more money.

Good points but Hades will freeze over before a server gets more than $2.13-$2.21/,hr. Bartender usually get $5-$7.
