Replace Maryland with Louisville?

Nov 17, 2012, 7:46 PM

Just a thought. They represent well in nearly every sport. They have a great AD in Tom Jurich, a marquee (and highly marketable) coach in basketball with Pitino, one of the hottest young head coaches in football in Charlie Strong, and with the Derby, the city is closer to the southern lifestyle than UCONN or Cincy or most of the other options.

Of course, I would LOVE that. But it won't happen.

The ACC snobs do not think U of L is prestigious enough an institution to join the ACC.

Schools left. Maybe now we can get a football school. uconn is not highly rated and bc is against it. Louisville has all the upside.

I don't think one team can black ball UCONN.

UNC, Duke, Wake, and UVA would all oppose Louisville.

YES!!!!!! THIS^^^^^^^^.

UCONN is an eqaul trade but if we get Louisville then the acc comes out on top.
