Why are right wingers so obsessed with Alexandra Ocasio Cortez?

Is it because they can’t pronounce her last name? They claim she is a nobody yet talk about her everyday. Being liberal she is at odds with the mainstream Corporate Democrats, so it’s not like she will be in any positions of power anytime soon. So really what’s with the obsession.

There's this tricky thing about passing legislation. The President doesn't do it. However, through executive action, Biden has created a sieve at the border which the progs like, nuked the Keystone pipeline on day 1 and supported the self proclaimed transformative legislation of BBB. Now the progs want Biden to issue EO's to accomplish what couldn't be done through passage of a regular bill much less through reconciliation.
What has he done to unify the country?

History shows that if one party takes power of the White House and Congress, the other party will make big gains in the midterms. That's a historical trend. Has nothing to do with AOC or any of her other clown compadres.

Usually it's
1) The opposition party wants more representation due to to dislike of current party's policies and is motivated towards a higher voter turnout.
or
2) The base of the party in power is underwhelmed and/or complacent when their person is in office, and is less motivated to turn up to vote.
Biden has definitely thrown out multiple olive branches via proposed policy to the AOC wing, and that would definitely contribute to #1. It's just not accurate to say they have "nothing" to do with it.

Who gets fed up with who is in power and votes in the other party to correct it. That, IMO, is the biggest factor. I would argue they're more fed up with Biden than worrying about AOC and her ilk.

You know how the right champions against things they secretly do because they have super conflicted feelings about it?
Like child abuse, drug trafficking, abortions, being gay, etc....? I think AOC is their secret wet dream but they feel so guilty about it they rail against her, but in reality they double top secret ### fan fiction parties about her they trade around.

Drug trafficking - republicans were quiet when Ronald Reagan was trafficking drugs with the CIA back in the 80’s
Abortions- against it but for it when their mistress gets pregnant
Being gay - hate gay people yet they still vote for Lindsey Graham

She's hot for a congress-person, but that doesn't cause any unhealthy obsession from my part.
I can only assume that peoples obsession with her are similar to their obsessions with the Kardashian/Jenners and other do-nothing famous people and "influencers".
In my opinion, she falls squarely into that category. I mean - I'm not diminishing the accomplishment of being in Congress, or maybe I am... but if she looked like Jim McGovern (see below), I don't think she'd be anything other than a foot-note.
Her looks and "rags to riches" story gives her way more of a voice than is reasonable. I suppose the media (social, left, right, and center) are to blame for this. She makes a great boogie-man.

First, I must be in the minority as I do not think she is hot. Compared to Hillary, yes; but avg at best. So the implication that everything is about her looks, is just silly.
The obsession is that radicals are authoring the policy on the left. Bernie and AOC have more influence over Biden than any “radical” on the right has ever had on anyone. The BBB bill is just the Green New Deal with a new name. AOC threw a tantrum on the Capitol steps and Biden extended the eviction moratorium (even though he said that he didn’t have the power to do it). So, he basically shredded the constitution for her tantrum.
There are crazies on both sides, but only the left has their ideas up for votes.

Here, you ask about a right wingers being "obsessed" with AOC, and kick it off with possibly it being an inability to pronounce her name. That seemed reasonable to you, so you posted it.
I'm curious who you are talking about that states she is both a "nobody" and yet discusses her every day? I hadn't seen that, but I trust you've done the homework.
If you don't think she's "in any position of power" I don't know if you understand how politics works.

The quick answer is that the left and their MSM allies have put AOC on a pedestal for the purpose of drawing attention. So why is anyone surprised when she gets it from the right?
The more in depth answer is as follows:
The obsession with AOC didn't start with the right wing. It started in the leftist MSM when she unseated Joseph Crowley (a long time Democratic Party power player) in the NY14 Democratic primary. From that day forward the MSM (most of which has major ties to NYC) made the decision to make her a "star". The MSM saw her as the perfect Socialist Barbie to be the face of their agenda - young, somewhat attractive, and full of vigor for their shared Socialist views. The MSM saw that AOC is a much better "front person" to push the Socialist agenda than an old communist fossil like Bernie Sanders.
The subsequent coverage that AOC received as a freshman House member was practically unprecedented. I can't recall any other first term, "done nothing in life", inexperienced Congress representative who has ever received the ridiculous amount of national press as AOC has received. To this day the MSM continues to provide AOC with a ridiculous amount of coverage especially when compared to her experience/accomplishments as a House Rep. She is not some learned stateswoman or deep thinking policy wonk. To the contrary as AOC has yet to write or pass any significant policy or legislation during her time in Congress.
Instead, the MSM (many of whom are leftist radicals themselves) simply want to tap into AOC's youthful exuberance for Socialism and make her the face of a movement. They continually give AOC a national bullhorn to scream into while she stands on her Socialist soapbox spewing stupid, overly simplistic and illogical ideas that have always resulted in tyranny, suffering, and death in every other society that has had the misfortune to institute them.
So to finally put a point on your question - since the MSM anointed AOC as a figurehead of the young radical left movement, and gives her a national platform to spew her special brand of stupidity, she is going to draw a whole bunch of attention from the right. For a politician - constant national press coverage means influence, influence means political power, and political power will always draw attention from supporters and adversaries alike. If AOC received the same press coverage as all the other inexperienced and unaccomplished Congressmen/women then the right would hardly talk about her at all.
