Supposedly Brian Kelly will get 10 years at over $100 million guaranteed. We still don't know what USC will pay Lincoln Riley.

Coaching "inflation" is real.

This is nuts.

College football as we know it died years ago. If some of you still believe in the fantasy of amateur athletics (well, amateur football at least), I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Real cheap!

I am disgusted by all of this. It's a perversion of what college sports should be about.

Lincoln Riley's Deal:

110 Million Deal.
USC is buying Lincoln's 2 houses in OK (Him and his family was set to move into a new 4 millions dollar house), and will pay 500k over the current value of each house.
USC will buy Lincoln Riley a 6 million dollar home in LA.
USC will allow Lincoln Riley and his family to use the school's private jet anytime, 24/7.

The primary reason for collegiate athletics should be to benefit students who are athletes.

Reality: It's just another vehicle for the rich to get richer on everyone else's dime.

I assume the $110M is over 10 years.

I assume that what ever USC offered Lincoln Riley, it must have been pretty sweet bc he took the deal, and turned his keys in at OU with the quickness lol!!!;)

If Lincoln was smart he’d hire a great assistant head coach to run the football side & recruit, recruit & recruit.... take care of interviews & fly all over the place on vacations!
