Not exactly our finest moment, huh?

That was Taggart's first year. He came in and most Nole fans thought he was a refreshing change from Jimbo. Jimbo had basically quit coaching my mid September and pulled his coaches off the recruiting trail in October of 2017.

Taggart seemed to be "the answer." He was excited about being at FSU. He obviously had a bad recruiting year, but that wasn't true freshmen on the field in that game. Nole fans thought it couldn't get any worse after that game, but it did. Taggart was a worse disciplinarian than Jimbo, and on top of that he couldn't coach worth a flip.

Clemson fans have every right to rejoice in that victory. And, Nole fans all over the country felt as low as the guy reading the book. The Taggart years were nothing short of embarrassing.

I enjoyed every minute of this game. I always had hopes that we could beat FSU in the 90's when they joined the conference. 1993 was an embarrassment. Tommy West really didn't do any better than Hatfield during his tenure. Tommy Bowden got us over "a" hump in defeating them in 2003. Who else loved the 2003 game? I know I did. Still it wasn't consistent and there were still blow out losses.
(Remember 2013? I'm sorry to bring that one up...)

2014 started the upward trend... (we should have won that game..)

I won't touch 2020....

Not a loss to FSU since 2015 with a few blowout wins and I LOVE it.
