But I doubt it is as bad as many might think. I will be curious where we end up after game 8. If still at 120....maybe the sky is falling?

I think Dabo will get it fixed, but I think this year's gonna be a bumpy ride.
It may take him a couple of season's to get us back on track.

This is the best approach IMO.
It's been abysmal watching the offense but on the drives they are clicking we're seeing what we were expecting all year.
Unfortunately, when your success rate is like 1 out of every 5-7 drives, it ain't ending well for nobody.
Heck, if we get to 50% rate of success on offense we win out IMO

I actually remember their fans asking for Sabans head. Saying he was washed up and finished and time to go.
So it’s a common thing to see for any fan base. “If you don’t meet expectations then give us someone who will.” For fans there’s no slack. No room for error.

They said that after we blew them out in 2018 (2019 game). Media even said he was done. We will be fine, for us long timers, we are prepared and can handle a few loses—not like them but dealt with them for about 30 years. We all just need to chill and just watch what happens over the next year (rest of this season and offseason).

I would be ok with 2 losses if the offense looked much better and was performing better. I can even accept the performance in the UGA game.
To be this bad on offense, I cannot accept if it continues. Now should Tony be let go now. Absolutely not. He has earned the right to correct things.
I don’t think the sky is falling, but we will not continue to compete and win at this level with the current offensive schematics and play calling. Not a complete overall, but definitely some tweaks and playing to your personnel.

Alabama was 10-2, with losses to LSU (eventual national championship) and Auburn. They also lost their starting QB for a big chunk of the season. Yet they ultimately finished in the top 10 anyway. If we win out and finish with two losses MAYBE thats a decent analogy but right now it looks like a terrible comparison.

It could be argued that Bama was as good if not better than Clemson that year. Bama played LSU much better than Clemson did. Bama's other lost was on the road at Auburn with the backup QB.

I even thought the bama fans reacted calmly when our Tigers embarrassed them at the 2018 natty, I believe it was. Remember when Saban said, "They (Clemson) did some things we hadn't prepared for". When you went to their discussion boards after that game, there was none of the whining that we heard when we beat Ohio State!

I did not notice a meltdown. I did notice Ohio State fans melting down when Clemson beat Bama in 2018. Those Ohio State fans were my cousins. ??
But they got us last year...sadly. ??
