1974. Craig Brantley caught a looooong TD pass - 90+ yards - vs UVA. Was that the one where he was split out wide and uncovered by the UVA defense? If it was, I remember that classic Jim Phillips call where he was almost whispering because it seemed he was afraid the d-back would hear him and be able to get over into coverage. Am I right on this?

Similar, Rodney Williams at Charlottesville - short pass (20 yds. or so) and no DB coverage on the receiver to the left side and an easy TD for the Tigers.

My memory is failing me a lot these days, but as soon as you mention this particular play, I had a quick flash back of it, but now, I can't finger it. It's like one of those times when a name is on the tip of your tongue but can't get it out. Well I can't seem to fully focus on that play in my memory, dang I hate that!!!

seemed like it was a good play action fake and then a throw. If he was uncovered I dont remember it but itspossible.
