Recruiting; what changed??

It seems clear something has changed from last season. Was this a product of us taking our time and developing our NIL plan and unveiling it all at once? Is this on Nick Eason?? Whatever it is, it seems like Clemson is back on even footing with other programs whereas it felt like we weren’t last year.

The change in getting them on campus over the summer and the NIL institute that was set up to help players. If Dabo can get them on campus for them to see past the bs articles and see the real deal he usually can close. But this class has been recruiting as hard if not harder then the coaches this is a special special group ??????

I think that maybe some of it, but being able to have them back on campus is the big thing.

It’s probably a product of the recruits being able to visit Clemson again.

Its obvious recruiting has not been hurt at all by the changes.

They discovered that the Oculus had been switched off and switched it back on, pretty obvious.

Real simple - Coaches are reminding players that if they do not commit earlier their spot in line may be lost over dilly-dallying over the transfer and nil distractions!!!! Do your homework early, come to your own personal resolve on where you really want to be, then commit!

The only real change is allowing summer OVs. Besides that, 2020 and 2021 killed us not getting kids on campus. We were not able to build relationships with the 2022 class, most of last year was working on 2023 and 24 and doing our best to salvage 2022. Covid really hurt us, it wasn’t the coaches or NIL.
