Recruiting Limits????

Jan 29, 2014, 6:24 PM

My understanding is that a school can sign a maximum of 25 recruits in one class. If there is not enough room in the 85 limit for 25, then the school cannot sign the maximum.

Is this right?

NCAA don't pay much attention to that with the coots b/c they understand that Slurrier is drunk before he gets to 21.

Last season USC had 79 players on scholarship. I believe they awarded extra scholarships to walk-ons to the limit they were allowed. Their reduction ends after this recruiting cycle.

From what I know. You can sign 28 to NLI. You can only bring in 25 for academic year. Those that enroll early can count toward the previous year until that number reaches 25.

Early enrollment usually works as a relief valve in the 28 signing deal.
