That's what makes us nervous about our offensive coaching, to be honest. Oregon was held up for a year or two by a fantastic quarterback in Mariotta. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned about our post-Deshaun future with these offensive coaches, especially with the drop-off we've seen this year.

We have QBs, Oregon has had two transfers from the division below D1 and a bevy of 3*s.

Did not replace the quality defensive players or find a QB worthy of note after Marcus Mariota.

they can't replace the quality of players they had under chip kelly and the coaching has gotten much weaker as well

Because dim lights go out fast. They were a flash in the pan with no program, just some good players at the right time. They had no plan for the future.
