247Sports' Andrew Ivins was asked on a network show about Miami's pursuit of 4-star Clemson WR commit Nathaniel Joseph, who was the Tigers' first 2023 pledge last year:

Not something you want to hear. Especially after that CB commited to so cal yesterday. True, he was a long Shot but it'd be nice to hear someone commiting...

Been discussed ad nassium but do we need to pursue MORE kids. As in policy change. Idk, asking.

According to a paid recruiting site, Clemson was a heavy lean for Myers just a few months ago. That changed during his visit to USC.

Hmmm...sounds like this isn't going to end well for us. "Secret" visits...

Joseph is a very different kind of receiver than we are used to. Electric wiggle and game changing speed, this would have been a monster get.

Really, really looking for some positive recruiting news. I thought Vizzina's commit was going to get things started but hasn't happened.

It seems to me we need to recruit more people. Dabo certainly knows the ends and outs of recruiting so I will trust his judgement.

I am not sure why the SC legislature does not rewrite the NIL law in an effort to be more "competitive" with other states. I am sure there are a few skilled wordsmith lawyers in the capital city that can remedy this. A race to the bottom scenario is already in effect around the country.

Does he want Championship rings or UM bling??

Miami isn't going to be able to pay enough guys in the next few years to win any titles, so if Joseph were to leave, the best he can hope for is some gold plated aluminum chains around his neck.
