We had the name first & they copied us, I understand why they would look so longingly on just how awesome we are, but still they are perpetrating a fraud by doing so.

Yes.

But for the embankments, Frank Howard Field would be under what, 20 feet of water? And I remember the (friendly) TA&M complaints about having to walk hills.

I can’t stand it when people say LSU is Death Valley. No it was called Deaf Valley. People couldn’t understand the accent down there. Also there was an article done a few years back confirming Clemson was called Death Valley first.
