Championship Game Tickets

I am sure this has already been discussed on here, but they released the ability to purchase tickets to those that 'won' their ticket lottery. Tickets are $450 a piece and you can buy up to 4...

Is there any possible way that I would not be able to get my money back if we aren't able to go? Being in the southeast,I think it's a given that people will pack the stadium and demand will be high.

I decided not to b/c we won't be able to tell yet if we will be the fiesta or peach bowl champs and I didn't want to have tickets on the opposite side of our fans. Also, if for some reason we don't make it to the title game, I don't know if I could make my money back selling those upper deck seats. Last year, those tickets dropped to around $150 on the secondary market.

Wondering if that was due to being in Arizona though, i feel like in Florida more people haev the opportunity to go.

That is a huge factor, although I will say that I went to AZ this year, and I don't remember seeing anybody selling tix outside.

I couldn't make it to last year's game, but went one year when I lived in Colorado. Tennessee beat FSU and tickets were going for nothing close to kick off. I think that most people who went got tickets in advance because it cost so much to get out there and they didn't want to get stuck watching from a bar outside the stadium. That's not a bad option though. I was married to a Vol at the time and we had a blast celebrating the win. It became a Vol city.
