So using those stats compared to each demographic 1 out of every 269,000 white people have been killed by police, while 1 out of every 97,000 black people have been killed by police. Thanks for bringing that up though because police are killing unarmed white people to. And are becoming more and more authoritarian towards American citizens as a whole.

the important part is understanding how dispatch works. Most people treat it like it's cops hunting down people. Most incidents when the result is a civilian death is because of a call. Criminals do not like being caught, and they don't want to go to jail. The proportion of blacks is higher, because more black people are concentrated in poverty areas in large cities.. which leads to more crime.
Keep voting for the people that keep minorities down though. It's been working great since what, the 50s? 60s?

I've always seen myself as more of a conservative lean, but more moderate than most people I hang with or talk to.
My problem is with extremism and corruption. This election will come down to Trump and Clinton. I know that Clinton is corrupt, can be bought, and has been a lifelong politician. I'm giving my vote to Trump. He definitely wasn't my first choice, but I'd rather take a chance with him.

The police are already becoming afraid to act, and you call them authoritarian? They are law ENFORCEMENT. They are there to protect us from criminals. If one does not want to draw attention of the police, then do not commit crimes. Do not have a history of committing crimes.

I have no problem with him making a statement or holding to his convictions but disrespecting the country and the flag is a lot bigger than just one issue. Uniting under the flag to continue to work toward improving every part of our nation is the right course. I just dont like the way he made his statement because there are 1000 facets to what our flag represents.. the majority of them are very good... not just the one issue.
